SNP’s Westminster chief Stephen Flynn grilled Daisy Cooper, deputy chief of the Liberal Democrats, over their document on tuition charges throughout Thursday night’s debate.

As the dialogue turned to the “crisis” within the UK’s training system, Mr Flynn identified that college charges in Scotland are far decrease than in England, and requested Ms Cooper if she believes in “free tuition”.

“On the point of tuition fees, we were punished for that, that is democracy,” she responded, referencing the 2015 election end result that noticed the tip of the coalition between the Conservatives and Lib Dems.
