After the indictment and switch to mainland France of a number of independence leaders suspected of getting ordered the riots which affected the South Pacific archipelago, violence has resumed in New Caledonia. Two different activists have been imprisoned on Tuesday in Nouméa, with out being transferred to France. The Field Coordination Unit, on the origin of the protest motion, denounces “colonial justice”.
