Foreign Minister Baerbock has confronted lots of criticism due to the excessive bills she has to pay for a make-up artist. Now she explains why the job is vital – and why it’s properly paid.
Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock (Greens) has defended her ministry's spending on a make-up artist towards criticism. When you seem on tv, you must put on make-up due to the robust highlight, mentioned Baerbock on the “Politics on Site” occasion organized by the Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland (RND), the NDR and the “Hannoverscher Allgemeine Zeitung”. “Otherwise you look like a gravedigger because you're completely grey.”
