A New Jersey mom accused of drowning her two younger daughters in a tub stated she carried out the horrific killings for “religious purposes,” new court docket paperwork revealed.

Naomi Elkins, 27, was residing in a basement condo in Lakewood along with her youngsters, ages 1 and three, and her husband, who was out of state on enterprise on June 25, when the tragedy occurred.

Once each ladies had stopped respiratory, Elkins stated she “realized that she had done something wrong,” and known as Hatzolah Medical Service, in response to the paperwork.

At the suggestion of the responding detective, she wrote a letter to her daughters through which she “references killing” them.
