Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mentioned on his X account that he was “deeply saddened”, sharing “the family's grief”. “Liora fought this cursed disease and clung to life to find her daughter Noa, with whom she was reunited during the heroic Operation Arnon. She died while her last wish was granted and Noa was by her side,” he mentioned.

Letters to Joe Biden

Aged 61, Liora Argamani had actively fought to acquire the discharge of her daughter and all of the Hamas hostages. Despite a degenerative illness, which notably led to partial paralysis of her physique and psychological deterioration, Liora Argamani had written a number of letters to US President Joe Biden and appeared on the American channel CNN in December 2023.

“As an only child and the child of a terminally ill mother, my greatest worry in captivity was for my parents. It is a great privilege to be by my mother’s side after eight months of uncertainty,” Noa Argamani mentioned fortunately upon her launch.
