The tensions between China and Taiwan have escalated additional with the seizure of a Taiwanese fishing boat by China. Chinese officers boarded the boat close to the Taiwan-controlled Kinmen Islands and introduced it to a Chinese port on Tuesday night (native time), the Taiwanese coast guard introduced on Wednesday.

Taiwan has despatched its personal coast guard ships to supply assist and China to launch the fishing boat. However, the Chinese ships replied that they need to not intrude, it stated. The Chinese Taiwan Affairs Office didn’t instantly reply to a Reuters request for remark.

Taiwan urges launch of fishermen
