The 757-200 with 174 passengers and 7 crew members was headed to Denver, Colorado and managed to land safely 25 minutes late.

A Boeing airliner misplaced a tire throughout takeoff from Los Angeles Airport on Monday, a brand new embarrassing episode for the US plane producer that’s accumulating setbacks and technical failures. The American firm United Airlines, which operated the flight, confirmed the incident in a press launch. “The wheel was recovered in Los Angeles and we are investigating the cause of this event,” it introduced.

The airplane, a Boeing 757-200, was carrying 174 passengers and 7 crew members and was headed to Denver, Colorado. It managed to land safely regardless of a lacking wheel, 25 minutes late. The airplane was delivered to the corporate 30 years in the past, in 1994, in line with a Boeing spokesperson. The firm stopped producing the 757-200 mannequin in 2004. The incident has prompted a brand new investigation by the U.S. aviation regulator, the FAA.
