“Economic inactivity is holding Britain again,” Ms Kendall said. “It’s not good enough that the UK is the only G7 country with employment not back to pre-pandemic levels”.

The Recruitment and Employment Federation, which represents the recruitment sector, mentioned the brand new authorities’s “early start” on decreasing joblessness was “vital”.
