A younger motorcyclist was fatally injured in an accident involving a van within the Ahrweiler district. The 16-year-old died on the scene of the accident on the B412 close to Hohenleimbach on Friday, a police spokesman mentioned. The 47-year-old van driver was taken to hospital with minor accidents. According to the spokesman, the B412 was utterly closed for round three hours. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
