An Italian man was arrested in Moscow for flying a drone over Zaryadye Park, not removed from Red Square and the Kremlin. Tass reported, citing police sources, who stated that “the incident occurred yesterday afternoon” and that the perpetrator was “an Italian citizen who works as a flight attendant for an Italian airline.” The man justified himself by claiming that he was unaware of the ban on drone flights over the Russian capital and that he had solely needed to take footage of the middle of Moscow from above.
