Jean-Vincent Placé indicted for sexual assault on a second lady | EUROtoday

Already prosecuted for sexual violence, former Secretary of State Jean-Vincent Placé was indicted on Friday, September 6, for sexual assault on a second lady within the judicial investigation concentrating on him in Paris since March 2022, Agence France-Presse (AFP) realized from a supply near the case.

The 56-year-old is suspected of sexually assaulting a lady within the first quarter of 2017 in Seoul, South Korea. The lawyer for the second plaintiff, M^e Tewfik Bouzenoune, declined to remark. Mr. Placé's lawyer, M^e Jade Dousselin couldn’t be reached instantly.

This indictment comes along with an preliminary indictment of Mr. Placé, already prosecuted for sexual assault and sexual harassment by an individual abusing the authority conferred by his place, in opposition to a former colleague.

The latter, who had adopted him from the Senate to the Secretary of State for Reform and Simplification (2016-2017), had filed a grievance in November 2021, accusing the previous Green elected official of sexual harassment between 2012 and 2016.
