Kristina Joksimovic: Miss Switzerland finalist ‘strangled, dismembered and pureed in blender by husband’ | EUROtoday
A former Miss Switzerland finalist was allegedly strangled, dismembered after which “pureed” by a blender, in response to her post-mortem, as her husband faces a homicide trial.
The stays of catwalk coach Kristina Joksimovic, 38, have been found in her house close to Basel, Switzerland, in February.
Local Swiss media, FM1 Today, reported that “according to the autopsy report, the body was dismembered in the laundry room with a jigsaw power tool, knife and secateurs”.
Several physique elements have been then “pureed” with a hand blender and dissolved in a chemical”, the outlet mentioned.
BZ Basel reported that her husband Thomas, 41, claimed he had acted in self-defence after she attacked him with a knife and he dismembered her physique of their laundry room in a state of panic.
He had an enchantment for launch from custody denied by the Federal Court after reportedly confessing to killing the 2007 winner of Miss Northwest Switzerland, with whom he had two kids.
According to FM1 Today, a forensic report decided Ms Joksimovic died from strangulation.
Thomas confirmed “a lack of empathy and cold-bloodedness after killing his wife” and making an attempt to cowl it up, prosecutors declare.
Former Miss Switzerland Christa Rigozzi, who was pleasant with Joksimovic, instructed 20 Minuten: “It’s terrible. I’m really shocked.
“I’m thinking of her two daughters. She was such a beautiful and kind-hearted woman.”
