European Parliament approves use of weapons in Russia: Italy opposes

The European Parliament has accredited using Western weapons in Russia. Italian MEPs primarily voted towards the decision, with divisions within the Democratic Party and Forza Italia. The delegations of the Lega and Fratelli d’Italia and, on the left, the Movimento 5 Stelle and Avs have been unanimously towards it. “What the European Parliament is calling for leads to a world war with nuclear weapons,” stated the speaker of the Russian State Duma Volodin. “In the event of Ukrainian attacks deep into Russia with Western weapons, Russia will give a tough response by using more powerful weapons,” Volodin threatened.
