Antoine Armand says he is not going to be “the minister of tax confiscation” | EUROtoday

“I will not be the minister of tax confiscation, nor of underinvestment in our economic and ecological future,” says the 33-year-old elected official who sees himself tasked with the heavy job of discovering 20 billion euros in financial savings in 2025. “In the budgetary context, automatically excluding certain exceptional and targeted levies would not be responsible,” he says, awaiting the tax pointers that will probably be decided by the Prime Minister.
