A Ventura County resident whose house was destroyed by the Mountain Fire described her chaotic escape from the blaze together with her husband and 6 pets.

Santa Paula resident Dawn DeLeon advised KABC/ABC7 Los Angeles: “We thought we were ok, evacuated anyway and today came back and the house was gone.”

Kathleen Bowcock mentioned it was a chaotic scene as she evacuated her household from their house in Camarillo.

The wildfire has destroyed 132 constructions in lower than two days, the Ventura County Fire Department mentioned.

Fire officers mentioned 88 different constructions had been broken however didn’t specify whether or not they had been burned or affected by water or smoke harm.
