Police and pro-EU protesters clashed once more on the streets of Tbilisi Friday evening throughout a second day of protests towards the federal government’s resolution to delay EU membership talks till 2028. The prime minister’s announcement adopted a non-binding European Parliament decision rejecting the outcomes of Georgia’s October parliamentary elections and calling for sanctions of prime Georgian officers.
