Man charged over crash which killed boy, 2, in Smethwick | EUROtoday
A 30-year-old man has been charged with inflicting loss of life by harmful driving after a younger boy died following an alleged hit-and-run crash.
A gray Porsche Cayenne hit a Toyota Auris carrying 4 adults and the two-year-old boy on Dartmouth Road in Smethwick, close to Birmingham, on Saturday night, West Midlands Police stated.
Two folks within the Toyota, a 29-year-old girl and a 30-year-old man, stay in a critical situation in hospital.
Sharjeel Shahzad has been charged with inflicting loss of life by harmful driving, two fees of inflicting critical harm by harmful driving, driving whereas disqualified, driving with no insurance coverage and failing to cease after a collision.
He has been remanded to look at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
