A flight tracker reveals the route of the Azerbaijan Airlines airplane that crashed in Kazakhstan on Wednesday (25 December).

Azerbaijan Airlines flight J2-8243 was travelling from the Azerbaijani capital Baku to the Russian metropolis of Grozny earlier than it made an emergency touchdown at Aktau airport on Christmas Day.

Of all of the 67 folks on board, 38 had been killed within the crash, and 29 survivors together with two kids had been pulled from the wreckage, Kazakh authorities mentioned on Wednesday.

The reason for the crash remains to be being investigated.
