Doting dad ‘murdered’ in Christmas Day tragedy pictured for first time | UK | News | EUROtoday
A person suspected to have been killed in his own residence on Christmas Day has been named regionally as Louis Price.
Tributes have been pouring on social media for the doting dad hours after stories of the incident on the house Mr Price was dwelling at together with his mother and father emerged.
One message posted on Facebook learn: “I am in utter shock this has happened! You didn’t deserve this. Always there when I needed you! Thank you for always having my back and making me laugh!”
A second mentioned: “All be grateful who is still around your tree this year. Another horrible message I woke up to this morning.” It added: “Rest in peace Louis Price. Proper shocked me this one.”
Staffordshire Police mentioned officers obtained a report of a person in his 30s in cardiac arrest on Elm Road, Norton Canes, at round 3.25am on Christmas Day.
An announcement launched by the power on December 25 learn: “We were called to a report of a man in his 30s in cardiac arrest on Elm Road, Norton Canes at around 3:25am this morning. Sadly, despite the best efforts of emergency services at the scene, he passed away a short while later.
“The man’s subsequent of kin have been knowledgeable and at the moment are being supported by specially-trained officers. A 33-year-old lady from Cannock has been arrested on suspicion of homicide and is in custody.”
The statement added that a police and forensic presence was expected to remain at the scene for “a variety of days”, adding that a post mortem was scheduled to be carried out today (Boxing Day).
A neighbour of Mr Price claimed to the Mail Online that at about 4.30am on Christmas Day she heard a female voice crying loudly over and again, “no, no, no”.
She told the paper: “I did not know what was occurring nevertheless it sound[ed] severe, I appeared exterior and the emergency companies have been all over the place.”
She added she believed Mr Price’s parents were “away on vacation when it occurred, They often go away to the Maldives for Christmas and that will have been the place they have been. They will likely be completely devastated and my coronary heart goes out to them.”
Another local said: “There are very good neighbours and what has occurred could be very unhappy, and at Christmas, a time for household to be coming collectively.
“The parents were abroad at the time and have been alerted to this nightmare and losing their son is such a dreadful way. It is shocking.”
