A person has been arrested in Maryland after authorites stated he triggered “disruptions” at two Christmas Eve lots, pouring whiskey into the holy water and pelting worshippers with tangerines.

Thomas Campbell Bolling Von Goetz, 56, was arrested and charged with a number of offenses following the sacrilegious rampage on Tuesday, officers reported.

According to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, Von Goetz entered Holy Angels Catholic Church in Avenue throughout a Mass shortly after 5 p.m.

Later that night time, throughout Midnight Mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Leonardtown, Von Goetz disrupted one other service by pouring whiskey into the holy water and threatening to hurt parishioners, in keeping with legislation enforcement authorities.
