WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald Trump and his former Vice President Mike Pence briefly greeted one another Thursday at former President Jimmy Carter’s state funeral, marking the primary time they’ve been collectively publicly — and probably in any respect — since Trump allegedly welcomed calls by his supporters to kill Pence throughout the Jan. 6, 2021 riot.

Trump and Pence have been among the many former presidents and vice presidents attending the National Cathedral service for Carter, who died on Dec. 29 on the age of 100. Former Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have been there, as was former Vice President Al Gore.
