It’s being known as the misplaced music of Auschwitz. A British composer has spoken to FRANCE 24 about his probability discovery of pages of compositions by prisoners on the Auschwitz loss of life camp in Nazi-occupied Poland. The works had been usually put collectively by individuals who didn’t survive the camp’s horrors. Leo Geyer has spent the final decade researching and documenting the compositions, amid his quest to make sure that the music lives on. He spoke to us in Perspective.
