The London Fire Brigade stated this afternoon that greater than 120 firefighters have been working to quash the blaze on the lodge on Chiltern Street.

The assertion learn: “Twenty fire engines and around 125 firefighters have been called to a fire at a hotel on Chiltern Street in Marylebone.

“There is a fireplace in ducting which leads from the bottom flooring to the roof of the 4 storey lodge with a restaurant on the bottom flooring. A plant room at roof degree can also be alight.

“Around one hundred people have evacuated the building before the Brigade arrived.
