Police say they’ve arrested two males over the alleged rape of a 36-year-old British vacationer at a lodge within the Indian capital Delhi.

The lady was reportedly assaulted at a lodge in Delhi’s Mahipalpur space, 15km south of the Indian parliament.

One of the suspects, recognized as Kailash, had befriended the London resident on Instagram, the police stated. He was arrested on prices of rape whereas his confederate was held on prices of molestation, the police stated in a press release.

The suspects weren’t associated to one another, based on the police.

The lady arrived in Delhi from the UK to fulfill the suspect after changing into buddies with him on social media, police stated. Local authorities have knowledgeable the British High Commission and have been aiding the British nationwide, based on studies.
