Man arrested after his mom, 92, discovered residing in ‘deplorable’ situations with 38 cats | EUROtoday

Arkansas authorities arrested a 61-year-old man after officers discovered his aged mom residing in “deplorable” situations with dozens of cats.

Paul Taylor has been charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent individual, a felony, and cruelty to animals, officers reported.

Police made the arrest after serving a search warrant for Taylor’s mom’s house in Blytheville, about 188 miles northeast of Little Rock on Monday. They discovered 38 cats contained in the dwelling and one deceased cat.

Taylor reportedly resided along with his mom and was her caretaker. He first appeared in courtroom on the costs Tuesday.
