An 11-year-old woman who’s lacking after she entered the River Thames on Monday has been named by the Metropolitan Police as Kaliyah Coa.
Kaliyah, who had been taking part in throughout a college inset day, entered the water close to Barge House Causeway, close to London City Airport in east London.
Emergency companies have been referred to as at 1.23pm on Monday with London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade, the RNLI and the Coastguard looking for the lacking schoolgirl.

The man was standing on a balcony in a flat block overlooking the river and later advised Ms Rajaendram he had been alerted by the kids “shouting, screaming”, she mentioned.
Ms Rajaendram continued: “Then I saw suddenly two kids were coming out to the top of the bridge, I said ‘what happened?’
“Then they said ‘one of my friends was playing in the water, one of my friends has gone into water and she’s gone underneath and we can’t find her’.”
The woman returned house whereas the boy advised Ms Rajaendram the place the incident happened.
Ms Rajaendram then referred to as her neighbour, Kerry Benadjaoud, 62, who took a life ring right down to the water however couldn’t see the woman.
