Police are probing a sickening assault on a young person have arrested a 12-year-old woman on suspicion of assault. LancsLive stories Olivia Allan was jumped by 4 women on Out Moss Lane in Morecambe, Lancashire, as she walked house from college.

Distraught mum Keighley Marie informed the publication that after the assault final Monday (March 24), medics informed her 13-year-old Olivia might have sustained mind harm if she had acquired any extra blows to the top. Ms Marie stated footage, circulated on social media, confirmed an individual climbing on to Olivia’s again earlier than “raining down blows” on to her face. She stated: “It’s every parent’s worst nightmare. I was at work in Lancaster when I got a call about what had happened and it was obviously school time so there was traffic and I was in an absolute frenzy trying to get to her.

“It simply felt prefer it went on perpetually. The marketing consultant in A&E stated that if she had taken any extra blows to the top, she might have been completely mind broken.”

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said enquiries were ongoing, adding: “We acquired a report of an assault on Moss Lane, Morecambe, at round 3.40pm on March 24, 2025. A teenage woman suffered accidents and was taken to hospital for remedy. She has since been discharged.

“Enquiries are ongoing, and a 12-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of assault. Anyone with information or footage is asked to contact us on 101 quoting log 0928 of March 24.”

Ms Marie defined the girl intervened between the ladies and restrained the perpetrator, earlier than contacting the emergency providers. She then waited with Olivia till the police arrived.

Ms Marie added: “Olivia’s recovering physically, but what she’s experienced mentally with the trauma is going to be a much longer process.

“The trauma Olivia has gone by way of and the trauma me and her dad have gone by way of is horrendous. I’ve bought two different kids to try to look after. It simply appears like an injustice.”
