A flight tracker has captured the route of a helicopter that crashed within the Hudson River in New York on Thursday, 10 April.

An animation launched by Flightradar24 exhibits the chopper travelling north over the water earlier than turning round and flying again to the place it got here from.

The tracker exhibits the second the helicopter plummeted into the river.

Six folks died within the crash, authorities confirmed.

Donald Trump has supplied his condolences and the National Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation.
