A former Tory MP is amongst 15 individuals who have been charged with offences referring to bets positioned on the timing of the 2024 normal election, the Gambling Commission has introduced.

The scandal over the alleged inserting of bets on the timing of Rishi Sunak’s shock resolution to name the nationwide poll early engulfed the Conservative Party’s marketing campaign final summer time.
