Nancy Mace Films Herself Having A Wild Meltdown On ‘Unhinged Lunatic’ Voter Over Hosting Town Halls | EUROtoday

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) shared footage of an expletive-laden confrontation between her and an “unhinged lunatic” voter over the weekend.

“Some unhinged lunatic, wearing daisy dukes, at a makeup store, got in my face today. Dems are nuts. So I went off – and I won’t be backing down,” Mace wrote in a submit on X, previously Twitter, Saturday alongside a clip of the incident.

She added in her caption: “I hold the line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Try me.”

In the clip, issues spiral uncontrolled after the person questions if she could be holding extra city corridor conferences this 12 months whereas she was out purchasing over the weekend.

“I do them every year. Do you want to keep going? Do you want to keep going, keep harassing me?” the conservative lawmaker stated, telling the unidentified man within the video that he “could have gone to a dozen town halls last year.”

The man responded, “I asked if you were doing any more this year. It was one simple question,” prompting Mace to then suggest that he was homosexual regardless of him by no means mentioning his sexuality throughout their heated alternate.

“And by the way, I voted for gay marriage twice,” she stated, to which he replied, “What does that have to do with me?”

Mace’s derogatory phrases got here after she beforehand claimed to be pro-LGBT, telling the Washington Examiner in March 2021 that she “strongly supports LGBTQ rights and equality.”

In a separate video shared on Bluesky by a social media person, the person seemingly kicked off the dialog by asking Mace if she goes to host a “a real town hall for the people” this 12 months.

“Did you miss the 15 I had last year?” she requested as he shot again, “the town hall you hosted this year was not a town hall, let’s be real.”

Reps for Mace didn’t instantly reply to HuffPost for remark.

Last month, Mace was criticized for not attending a city corridor organized by the Lowcountry Accountability Alliance, alleging that it was being “driven by left-wing extremists and paid agitators with a clear agenda” and wasn’t “safe.”

“We’re staying away because it’s not safe, and we refuse to be bullied by individuals who are threatening me, my employees, and my family,” she wrote on X.
