Fighter jets, sniper items a part of enormous safety operation in place for Pope Francis’s funeral | EUROtoday

Ahead of Pope Francis’s funeral Saturday, Italy and the Vatican are implementing a large safety plan that features fighter jets, sniper items, airport-style safety checks and a big police presence to handle the arrival of world leaders and a whole bunch of hundreds of anticipated mourners.  A 24-hour no-fly zone over Rome is already in place.
