A lightweight plane has crashed at Barton Aerodrome “seriously injuring” two folks.

Emergency companies have rushed to the airport in Eccles, Salford, at this time (Tuesday, April 29) at round 5.30pm.

Firefighters, police and paramedics had been all referred to as to Barton Aerodrome in Eccles.

It’s reported that the airplane crashed after stalling on the finish of the runway.

Lee Parry, a firefighter at Leigh hearth Station advised the Bolton News the airplane is claimed to be “upside down” with “fuel leaking”.

He mentioned: “Firefighters from the technical response unit at Leigh were called to Barton Aerodrome to reports of a plane crash.

“The airplane is claimed to be the wrong way up. Two persons are significantly injured. Fuel is leaking and there’s particles across the space.”
