extra quite a few, however extra restrictive agreements | EUROtoday
Some specialists anticipated the tip of the well being disaster is accompanied by a transparent reflux of telework. Nothing like this has occurred: in its research revealed on April 17, entitled “Company agreements on telework: what changes following the health crisis? », The Directorate of Animation, Research, Studies and Statistics (DARES) of the Ministry of Labor notes the opposite. The number of telework agreements concluded in 2023 (2,080) remains much higher than that observed before the health crisis in 2019 (1,300), even if it fell compared to the peak of 2021 (3,940).
The signatures of endorsements (new clauses) to existing agreements follow a similar trend in 2023. The share of these endorsements, among all of the texts concluded (agreements and endorsements), increased without discontinuous since the health crisis to establish itself at 25.2 % in 2023. This reinforcement is clearly due to two causes: companies not yet endowed with a telework agreement are less and less.
And when the existing agreements mature, the social partners prefer to refine them by endorsements. And they do not plan to ban this practice as it collects a large consensus. “Employees and executives in particular consider teleworking as an achievement. Many would even be ready to resign if this possibility was removed ”recalls Maxime Legrand, national secretary of the CFE-CGC.
By leaning on the number of days of telework allowed, the Dares also notes that the proportion of agreements which provide two days of telework increases from 2017 to feel in 2021 and then regress. The same bump curve is observed for the durations of three, four or five days between 2017 and 2023. “The firms that had gone too far within the all-teletravail come again to one thing extra balanced”,, observes Mr. Legrand.
