A girl has pleaded not responsible to the deadly stabbing of a paramedic inside an ambulance.

Shanetta Bossell, 39, entered the plea on Monday, following her arrest on Sunday. Court data point out Bossell tried to flee the scene within the ambulance after the stabbing, whereas others have been offering help to the wounded paramedic.

A second ambulance arrived and the crew rushed Hoffman to the hospital, where he died later that afternoon.

Thompson said any conviction on the murder charge could draw a life sentence without possibility of parole — or even a death sentence. But he did not elaborate on prosecution plans and said police continue to investigate what he described as a “horrific” crime.”

“Let me be perfectly clear,” he mentioned. “Our workplace will use all authorized, ethical, and moral instruments at our disposal to make sure justice for Graham, his household and all the group.”
