Following a hard night for Kemi Badenoch’s Conservative party The Tory leader wrote in The Telegraph: “I’m deeply sorry to see so many succesful, hard-working Conservative councillors lose their seats. They did not deserve it – they usually weren’t the rationale we misplaced.”
