A Huddersfield mum has stated she was “gobsmacked” after seeing a restaurant worker showing to tuck right into a buyer’s meal.
The mum, who didn’t want to be named, claimed she noticed a KFC employee in Marsh, Huddersfield, take a sip from a drink she believed was being ready for assortment.
After seeing the act on April 27, she stated she was left unimpressed and is now getting ready to file a grievance with the seller.
While ready on the counter, she stated a male member of workers was pouring a cup of Pepsi however took a sip of the beverage earlier than inserting a lid on prime and “sliding it forward” as if to serve to a buyer.
The Yorkshire mum stated she couldn’t consider what she had seen and that she confronted two members of workers in regards to the incident, however claimed one denied it had occurred and each had been laughing.
She added: “Both refused to give their names and started to laugh.”
While this occurred, the member of workers who allegedly took a sip of the drink moved to the rear of the kitchen and wouldn’t converse to her.
A KFC spokesperson informed Yorkshire Live the client’s issues had been being taken severely and the restaurant’s crew was in contact together with her and aimed to resolve her grievance.
They stated: “We’re sorry to hear about this customer’s experience and are taking the claims made seriously.
“The restaurant team is in contact with the customer, and we’re working hard to understand exactly what happened and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.”
