After a technical failure, a passenger ship caught to Wittmund and put it there for greater than 9 hours. After the ship left the port of Wittmund-Harlesiel on Wednesday morning, the on-board electrical system and thus the rowing system fell out, because the water safety police introduced.
The ship ran on the dam that was only one kilometer away. A non-public helper introduced seven of the fifteen passengers off the ship. The different eight and three crew members remained on board, it stated.
According to the police, the crew was unable to free the ship as a consequence of low tide and due to this fact needed to look ahead to the following flood. In the night the ship was in a position to return to the port of Wittmund-Harlesiel. According to the knowledge, it’s anticipated to be examined for potential harm on Friday and will not drive for thus lengthy.
