A girl has been charged after allegedly making an attempt to abduct a child close to the promenade of a seaside resort. Police mentioned it was reported {that a} lady had approached a child in a pram on Central Drive, near the Coral Island arcade in Blackpool, at 11.55pm on Saturday, earlier than attempting to stroll away with the pram.

Nicolette Goldrick, of Marton Drive, Blackpool, has been charged with little one abduction and police assault.
