As many as 100 firefighters are battling a hearth at a block of flats in north east London. 15 fireplace engines are additionally on the scene on Collendale Road, Walthamstow as dramatic photos on social media present thick black smoke billowing from the buildings. London Fire Brigade say that two flats are on fireplace, in addition to a part of the roof.
