The Duchess of York has mentioned she is “sure” that the late Queen “talks to her” via her pet corgis.
Sarah Ferguson adopted the 2 canines, Muick and Sandy, from the late Queen together with her ex-husband Prince Andrew.
She has now mentioned she believes Queen Elizabeth continues to be speaking together with her years after her dying – via the canines’ barks.
“I have her dogs, I have her corgis. Every morning they come in and go, ‘woof woof’ and all that and I’m sure it’s her talking to me”, she mentioned in an handle to the Creative Women Platform in London, The Times reported.
“I’m sure it’s her, reminding me she’s still around.”

The canines stay with the duchess and Prince Andrew at their house, the Royal Lodge in Windsor.
For most of her life, Queen Elizabeth II has owned at the very least one corgi – a canine breed now synonymous together with her.
When she was simply seven-years-old, her father purchased Elizabeth and her sister Margaret their first corgi, Dookie, in 1933.
She since owned greater than 30 corgis in her lifetime, most descended from a corgi named Susan who was gifted to her as an 18th birthday current in 1944.

The then-princess cast such a robust reference to Susan that the canine accompanied her on her honeymoon.
Muick, one of many canines now owned by the Duchess and York, was named after a favorite spot close to the Queen’s summer time retreat of Balmoral Castle.
Sarah has beforehand spoken about Muick’s connection to the final queen. In 2023, she described how they’d grieved after the Queen’s passing in 2022.
She informed the TV present Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly on Channel 5 that it took the pup a few 12 months to return to phrases with the dying.
