The numerous proper candidate Sébastien Martin (ex-Republicans) claimed, from the France-Presse (AFP) company (AFP), his victory on Sunday May 25, within the partial legislative election of Saône-et-Loire, in opposition to the deputy for the National Rally Arnaud Sanvert, whose election in 2024 had been invalidated.
“It is with immense pride and a deep gratitude that I announce my victory in the legislative elections on the 5the district of Saône-et-Loire ”he said in a message to AFP, saying that he had collected around 60 % of the vote, compared to 40 % to Mr. Sanvert.
