Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) made an unforced political error throughout a city corridor Friday morning when she reminded constituents frightened about Medicaid cuts that “we are all going to die.”
But when she tried to place a constructive spin on the occasion after it concluded, social media wouldn’t let her ignore her controversial feedback.
During the assembly in Parkersburg, Iowa, Ernst confronted questions from voters involved about proposed cuts to Medicaid and meals stamp advantages.
