In a problem dated June 9, a donkey is featured underneath a “LOST” signal with tear-off cellphone numbers to name the Democratic National Committee in case somebody finds the occasion.

“Democrats know they have a branding problem that transcends policy, messaging, or leadership questions,” Charlotte Alter wrote within the cowl story, later including: “They know they need fresh ideas and new leaders, even though they can’t always agree on how to find them.”

But with Trump in workplace and each chambers of Congress managed by Republicans, even an ass is aware of that Democrats face an uphill climb.

Still, a comeback could also be looming.

“When you hit rock bottom, anything is possible—and every transformative political figure of the modern age has emerged from a moment like this one,” Alter wrote.
