It mentioned: “M1 Southbound closed, severe delays due to serious accident from J41 A650 (Carrgate) to J40 A638 Wakefield Road (Obset / Wakefield). Congestion to J44 (Leeds south/ Rothwell) for southbound traffic, and J38 (Woolley/ Huddersfield) for northbound due to on-lookers. Note change of details.”
