We host the EU Ombudswoman, Portuguese politician Teresa Anjinho, who says she goals to make her workplace the “reference point for integrity issues”. The workplace itself is known as the EU Ombudsman, despite the fact that it has now been led by two ladies. It was established within the early Nineteen Nineties as an unbiased establishment that investigates complaints about poor administration by EU establishments and our bodies. We talk about the priorities of her five-year mandate, which started this February, and the transparency points surrounding scandals similar to “Pfizergate”, “Qatargate” and “Huaweigate”.
