Lidl, misleading business practices: compensation of 43 million in intermax | EUROtoday
The Paris Court of Appeal has sentenced the grocery store chain Lidl to pay a Intermarché 43 million euros in compensation for misleading business practices.
AFP experiences it, which has seen the sentence, explaining that the German giant -scale distribution group was declared “responsible for deceptive commercial practices” for having broadcast, for a number of years, tv commercials with promotions of merchandise “without guaranteeing its availability for a period of 15 weeks in all its stores”.
Which constitutes Lidl’s “unfair competition” in opposition to the intermax competitor, in keeping with the sentence.
