According to Hamas, however, the attack failed that no member of the delegation was killed. But six people were killed, including Al-Haja’s son and his office manager. When asked by CNN about Al-Hajas’s whereabouts, Al Thani said that there was currently no official explanation.

Shortly after Israel’s attack, Al Thani had indicated that Qatar could adhere to his role as an intermediary in the Gaza War. The next day, according to CNN, he said that “every part was re -evaluated” in terms of Katar’s commitment in future ceasefire negotiations.
