Households throughout the UK are being urged to lock their doorways and home windows on Sunday and Monday as winds as much as 70mph are forecast. The Met Office has warned that extra unsettled climate is on the way in which this weekend, with heavy showers, thunderstorms and powerful winds on the playing cards for a lot of the nation. Yellow climate warnings have been issued from 8pm on Sunday, September 14, till 6pm on Monday, September 15, with gusts anticipated to succeed in as much as 70mph in some areas.
