“Now is not the time to change the President of the Republic,” says Sébastien Lecornu | EUROtoday

Asked a couple of resignation of Emmanuel Macron and the group of an early presidential election, as talked about yesterday by Edouard Philippe on the set of RTL, Sébastien Lecornu estimated this night that it was not vital “leave as soon as there is a bit of storm”. “If it weighs on the president of today, it will weigh on future presidents and tomorrow it will weigh on the mayors, on the deputies, and we will say, “well, we don’t agree, so we have to go”, continued Mr. Lecornu.

“As always [sic] Minister in charge of the armed forces, I can testify to you that now is not the time to change the President of the Republic because, by definition, the word of France abroad, and fortunately, (…) he is the President of the Republic”declared the resigning Prime Minister on France 2. “This presidential institution must be protected, preserved”he insisted.
