China’s main state oil corporations have suspended purchases of seaborne Russian oil after the United States imposed sanctions on Rosneft and Lukoil, Moscow’s two largest oil corporations, a number of commerce sources mentioned on Thursday. Reuters writes this in an unique on its web site. The transfer comes as refineries in India, the most important purchaser of seaborne Russian oil, are set to slash their crude imports from Moscow, to adjust to sanctions imposed by the United States following the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine.
